Madeleine Mitchell, violin & director, performs alongside outstanding students from the Royal College of Music in a celebration of International Women’s Day. Together, they present some of the finest chamber music by women composers, from pianist-composer Clara Schumann to the Master of the King’s Musick, Errollyn Wallen, her predecessor Judith Weir, and the French and English composers Mel Bonis and Rebecca Clarke.

Meet Madeleine Mitchell 

Madeleine Mitchell has been described by The Times as "one of Britain's liveliest musical forces (and) foremost violinists" and she is also a Vice-President of KCMS. She performs alongside outstanding students from the Royal College of Music in a celebration of International Women’s Day. Together, they present some of the finest chamber music by women composers, from pianist-composer Clara Schumann to the Master of the King’s Musick, Errollyn Wallen, her predecessor Judith Weir, and the French and English composers Mel Bonis and Rebecca Clarke.
