Drink & Draw: Flaming June - A Study in Repose and Radiant Form

Immerse yourself in the languid beauty and sun-drenched atmosphere of Frederic Leighton's iconic "Flaming June" in this unique life drawing workshop. We'll delve into the captivating pose and radiant form of Leighton's sleeping muse, exploring the nuances of relaxed anatomy and the interplay of light and shadow that define this masterpiece. The evening will include guided exercises focusing on gesture, contour, and shading techniques, as well as extended poses designed to allow for in-depth study of the model's form and drapery. Suitable for artists of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced drawers, and everyone seeking a creative, sociable and relaxing experience.

Doors open at 6:30pm for the chance to explore the historic house.

Tutored class runs from 7pm-8:30pm. Doors close at 9pm

2B Or Not 2B Collective are a POC-run life drawing group based in London, focused on uplifting marginalised bodies. The aim of the Collective is to provide a fresh take on what life drawing can be, accessible to all, an opportunity to switch off from the world, practise drawing, and socialise within an informal environment.
