Drink & Draw: Narcissus in the Blue Room
Wednesday 4 March, 7pm - 9pm; doors open at 6:30pm
Step into the world of Greek mythology at Leighton House, where opulent interiors meet artistic inspiration. Inspired by the story of Narcissus—the youth captivated by his own reflection—and the shimmering Narcissus Hall, this life drawing session invites you to explore reflection, beauty, and self-discovery through the human form. Capture the grace and poise of our model while drawing inspiration from the deep blue tiles, gilded ceilings, and reflective surfaces that evoke water and the mythic gaze. Experiment with light, shadow, and poses that play with reflection and self-observation. Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply looking for a creative evening, this is a chance to immerse yourself in myth, art, and imagination.
