Haunted House at the Sambourne's
Friday 31 October 2025, starts at 6pm and 7pm
Back by popular demand, the "spooktacular" after-hours tours at Sambourne House return for one night only on All Hallows’ Eve. Treat yourself to a night of intrigue and drama and hear from Mrs Sambourne herself, as she tells her guests about all things Victorian. Immerser yourself in the life and secrets of the Sambourne family, with our new soundscape experience in their mysterious dining room…tonight’s menu is to die-for!
The evening includes a welcome drink and a introductory film.
Sambourne House is the former home of Victorian illustrator and photographer Linley Sambourne, his wife Marion and their children Maud and Roy. With eclectic interiors remaining practically intact, it is a fine example of the era’s fashionable aesthetic and ‘House Beautiful’ style.
